Just go ahead and do the same way you would do if it was a variable on the
current document. So:
function fun_open()
{
Window_name = window.open("target.php", "HTML_window_name",
"status=no");
// so on target.php you have a HTML form you wish to manipulate
Window_name.target_form_name.input_field_name.value = "foo";
}
