This is the info I saw on the latest article on Zend : "The Zend Compiler deals with the copyright problem embedded in the open source model. Its target market is the developer who created a commercially viable, innovative product or Web site with PHP and no longer wants to share with the community. The Zend Compiler will seal off his software from all other users for $6,000 per station.
