array sort problem

Hello, I've got some directories in one directory as such: 01-07-2000 01-14-2000 02-08-2000 02-16-2000 02-23-2000 03-09-2000 03-24-2000 04-07-2000 04-21-2000 07-15-2000 07-22-2000 09-14-2000 (representing article publishing dates...) I've got a script that reads these into an array, and then iterates through each directory and displays the contents then spits it out as a directory listing. It works fine, but when it ouputs the directories, I cannot tell by what method or logic it is sortying these direcotries, as there doesn't seem to be a logic as to how the array was created while being created with the opdir(function). Any clues anyone? ~ Theo
