Hi!
I have a web app running apache/php that calls a perl script via the
"exec" function. This perl script in turn connects to a postgres
database. All of a sudden this script stopped working, complaining
that it could not find a shared library for postgres. This was in the
middle of the night when no-one was in the system doing anything so
I'm pretty sure it somehow happend by itself.
Very strange! Starting and stopping apache helped the problem (plain
"apachectl restart" did not help),
I've had the same problem once before but that was after a system
reboot, this time it happened while everything was up and running.
The stuff I use:
FreeBSD 3.4
php 3.0.16
apache_1.3.9
postgres 6.5.1
perl 5.005_3
The error message was:
Can't load

module Pg: Shared object "libpq.so.2" not found at
