old form values

I have a form and because I have to keep it in a frame w/out scrolling, I have to split it into 2. When the user fills the first one and everything is correct (checking it in a seperate php file that will report which one was entered incorrectly and goiing back to the initial form), it goes to the second one. When thats filed correctly, all the info goes to a mysql db. Now, I lose the values of the first form when the user goes to the second form. I tried to keep track of the values using dummy variables but it doesnt work. Is there something I can do?? Please help me out.
