Hello all together, I just installed the apache webserver (1.3.12) for windows and php3. The apache webserver runs but php doesn't. If I start a php script either in IE5 or Netscape 4.7 the result doesn't look like it should. That's the script I used to test php. The file is called "test.php" <html> <head> <title>Test</title> </head> <body> This is the first sentence (html)<p> <?php echo "This is the second sentence (php)<p>"; ?> </body> </html> I installed apache into "c:\apache". I put the testfiles into "c:\apache\htdocs" which is the apache-webservers root directory. If I enter the address "http://localhost/test.php" into the browsers' location-bar I receive an error-message in both browsers. IE says Site not found and Netscape says Bad Request Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Invalid URI in request GET /test.php HTTP/1.0 Apache/1.3.12 Server at localhost Port 80 If I do the same with an .htm file it works without problems. I guess the httpd.conf file is properly configured. Here are some extracts of my config file which have to do with php. (By the way: php3 is installed to "c:\php3") ScriptAlias /php3/ "c:/php3/" AddType application/x-tar .tgz AddType application/x-httpd-php3 .php3 AddType application/x-httpd-php .php AddType application/x-httpd-php .phtml AddType application/x-httpd-php3 .phtml Action application/x-httpd-php3 "c:/php3/php.exe" Action application/x-httpd-php "c:/php3/php.exe" Is there anything wrong or missing? Thanks for your help.... Marcel
