Hello.
I have built a php application on Linux (PHP 4.01, Interbase 6.0
{LI-V6.0.0.624}, Apache 1.3.12). Everything works great!
Now I try to run this same application on an NT 4.0 SP5 machine with PHP
4.02, Interbase 6.0 (WI-V6.0.0.627}, Apache 1.3.12. From a php script,
I can connect to the Interbase database with no problems.
If I try to run a select statement in a php script, then I get an
'Application Error' and Dr. Watson fires up. In my httpd.log file:
[Mon Oct 02 06:42:40 2000] [error] [client 24.8.18.17] Premature end of
script headers: c:/php/php.exe
This same script (different dbName) runs *perfectly on Linux*.
I am really stuck and I have no idea what to try now. Any help is
greatly appreciated!
Thanks
Jeff
Here is my test script:
<?php
$dbServer = "localhost";
$dbName = "C:\Program Files\BORLAND\InterBase\data\mut.gdb";
$user = "mtnunion";
$passwd = "x8fg73ca";
$connect = $dbServer . ":" . $dbName;
echo "connecting to ibase<br>";
$dbh = ibase_connect( $connect, $user, $passwd );
$sql = "SELECT AUDIT_ID FROM AUDITS;";
echo "$sql<br>";
$sth = ibase_query( $dbh, $sql );
$row = ibase_fetch_row ( $sth );
ibase_free_result( $sth );
$id = $row[0];
echo "selected ($id)<br>";
echo "disconnecting from ibase<br>";
ibase_close( $dbh );
?>
