Hi, there,
I'm new to php. I'm using Redhat6.0 and Apache/1.3.9 .
I downloaded php-3.0.16 (not version 4 because the application is written to php3), followed the instructions in INSTALL and INSTALL.DSO. Seems everyting is smooth, until I start the apache, the error came out:
#########################
[root@wolf libexec]# /usr/local/apache/bin/apachectl start
Syntax error on line 254 of /usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf:
Cannot add module via name 'mod_php3.c': not in list of loaded modules
/usr/local/apache/bin/apachectl start: httpd could not be started
#########################
then, I checked the apache's httpd.conf file, and put the line:
LoadModule php3_module libexec/libphp3.sobefore the line: AddModule mod_php3.c and start the apache again, but this time, the error mesage is: ######################### [root@wolf bin]# /usr/local/apache/bin/apachectl start Syntax error on line 210 of /usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf: Cannot load /usr/local/apache/libexec/libphp3.so into server: /usr/local/apache/ libexec/libphp3.so: undefined symbol: dlst_first /usr/local/apache/bin/apachectl start: httpd could not be started ######################### I checked the symbol "dlst_first", it is a function in: functions/dlist.c Because it is not an outside function, I do not understand why it is "undefined"? and how to solve the problem? Please help!!!!!!! thanks Kai ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com
