PHP have news server at news.php.net but it is 'always' down and it is only a mailing list mirror, so some messages get lost or get 'out of thread'.I've never had any problems with news.php.net being down or loosing messages. As for 'out of thread', that is usually due to the person's email/newsreader client not replying correctly to a thread. Curt
