Hi All,
Does someone know how to fix this please ( I'm trying to use an ODBC
connection to Interbase 5) :
I use : $c = odbc_connect( $alias, $user, $pw);
I get the error message in the browser window :
SQL error: [Visigenic][ODBC InterBase 4.x Driver][InterBase]unavailable
database, SQL state S1000 in SQLConnect ...
I'm on a WinNT Workstation, and test.gdb resides on a local NTFS drive E:/
I'm accessing the PHP3 file through Apache 1.3. having used ODBC Admin. to
set up the alias TEST which successful connects on testing from here.
I can access the database from a CMD interface (DOS window) using the file
name (...test.gdb), also I can access through Control panel:ODBC
Administrator: Test so the alias I am using is "registered" but
"unavailable database"...??... How can I configure it to be available,
please?
Thanks for any help.
:-)
John
