Please could anyone help me with a small problem I'm having. I have an existing mailing list program written in perl and the sign up process is done through a cgi form. What I want to do is modify my contact page and add an option for people to
subscribe at the same time, which means I need to post the form results to
the email address using something like formmail.pl but also post the email
address to the cgi script. Any ideas? Many thanks in advance for any replies. TomFirst of all, you should start a new thread when trying to get help. Many people don't see new questions when they are simple replies to a question. Your question is slightly confusing. Are you having a problem getting PHP and Perl to play together? Is your issue that you want to send two emails at once (one two you, one to the automatic subscription account)? Now, I'm not entirely sure of your mail configuration. But what you might do is set up an email account that is only for handling subscription requests. Have your cgi form send an email to this account with all of the subscription info it needs, and then have a script on the server side to take these emails and turn them into new subscriptions. You can have the cgi send another email to yourself with the original message, if that's what you want to do.
