I recently started working on a project where I needed to validate XML against a schema (XSD) and after searching for 3 days, ended up with nada with regards to a native PHP solution. What I ended up resorting to was using Sun's "Multi Schema Validator". Yes, I have to shell out to use it and I have to jump through some small hoops to check success or failure but, apart from that, it seems ot work very well.
