Hi,
Anyone know some tutorials on internationalisation of a web application? I'm pretty sure it's just a case of:
- setting the language in a config file
- including a file/array of strings in the set language
- calling each string as needed, and defaulting back to the primary language (english) if a translated string is not available.
... but I'd love to see if there's anything I should think of early-on, or any big issue that someone has already thought through...
Please note: I'm not looking for tips on creating multi-lingual websites... just having a web application GUI (eg for a CMS) which is available in multiple languages by adding a translation file.
TIA
