Generate an hour matrix with php

Hi all. I´m trying to think of a solution about creating an hour matrix for employees. The idea is to have employees on Y-axes and dates on X-axes and that gives me a cell for each X-employee on every Y-date. In that cell I would like to insert hours for every employee. I´m not what the best method is to use in this matter so I am curious if someone could send me a link for a matrix class or an idea on how the best way is to solve this? Saludos, Levy.
