What's the problem you're having with this? Any errors?

Hi When the file get updated etc, The new values dont get passed on in to the file when writting Ive looked at the permissions etc, all is fine

Is this line working...? $write=fopen($val,'w'); Maybe wrap it in an if to see if it's opening the file for writing. You could also try setting the whole path to the file... $val = "/etc/dhcpd.conf"; instead of $val = "dhcpd.conf"; I'm betting that you now have a file in the same directory as the script is running called 'dhcpd.conf' -- By-Tor.com It's all about the Rush http://www.by-tor.com
