The session machinery was trying to record info by writing it to a file in
the /tmp directory, and that file write failed for one reason or another.
Some things to check:
1) Do you have a /tmp directory on your webserver's file system?
2) If so, does it have any free space?
3) What are the permissions for writing into tmp?
