Hi Dsx, If you're unable to use classes from PHPLIB, I suggest you learn PHP first. Using objects for the first time is very confusing, but there are some excellent guides on the internet. I suggest you spend a couple of days just experimenting, writing your own classes to do menial tasks, etc. Whatever task you're trying to achieve, be it communicate with an IRC server or query a game server, pear.php.net has the objects you need.
