Thanks all makes sense, but, if I add this: <?php echo($_SERVER['HTTP_REFERRER']); ?> I don't get anything back when the page is called?Yes, that can happen, which is why I said it wasn't perfect. I think using some sort of form to go through is the better option. Larry
