hi shawn,
you are the admin of the mysql-database so you are the
only one with root access ( i hope)
please see the mysql manual how to keep others away from
databases the are not allowed to see
the tables you can use for this purpose are:
db, user and host in database mysql
by the way
i tried your script on my server
and there is this error
Warning: Variable passed to each() is not an array or object in
/usr/local/etc/httpd/htdocs/testdrive/seeme.php3 on line 1101
hope this helps
andreas

Subject: [PHP] interface sees whole database
Hello,
Long time listener, first time caller. I do web hosting, but am very new
to php. I have a client who is using an interface that is very nice, but
with one big problem for me. He can see all of the databases on the
server. It is even apparent that he might have some control (edit, drop)
over them too. I don't think this person would have brought it to my
attention if these were his intentions, but none the less, i can not
have a customer with access to all of the databases. If maybe one of you
guru's are bored today, could you please look at this script
www.ghostone.com/mysql and tell me if there is a quick fix.
offering my first born in advance
shawn
