Hi Matthew:
While this isn't exactly what you want, maybe it'll work... Instead of
converting [code] to <pre>, turn it into <code>. Then, when nl2lb() does
it's magic, the line breaks in the code section will be needed. The downside
is this doesn't take into account long lines that will now be wrapped by the
browser that wouldn't be under <pre>.
