include from remote host

Hi all, Sorry if this has already been covered - long but, but I'm out of date and am in deparate need for the answer to this. I wish to run a script on one server (A), that will include a php file from a remote server (B). Then I wish for server A to access the variables declared in B servers file. So far I have tried many different ways, globals, readfile to variable, etc, but nothing seems to work. Does anyone have any advice or an example they would like to share? When project completed, I evisage servers utilising this feature will be *nix/Apache based, however in this example I am using a Windows 98/Apache with PHP4RC2.
