Mailserver is a Linux (Red Hat) box:
I cannot check the mail server logs for the time being but I checked
maillogs of webserver Linux machine, and I saw these: ( I deleted some parts
for obvious reasons)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Oct 7 12:57:32 sendmail[7993]: MAA07991: to=addressinourdomain,
delay=00:01:00,
xdelay=00:00:00,
mailer=esmtp,
relay=<our mail server goes here>,
stat=Sent (2.0.0 e97Buaq20462 Message accepted for delivery)
Oct 7 13:13:35 sendmail[8032]: NAA08030: to=oguzaltun@usa.net,
delay=00:01:00,
xdelay=00:01:00,
mailer=esmtp,
relay=mxpool01.netaddress.usa.net. [204.68.24.19],
stat=Deferred: Connection timed out with mxpool01.netaddress.usa.net.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
The only difference is that relay thing. So sendmail tries to connect to
usa.net mailserver and fails or what? How can I say sendmail to just send
the email to our mailserver? Is it related to that?
