I agree that PHP & MySQL Web Development (By Luke Welling and Laura Thompson) is a great resource for learning PHP. Armed with that book and the online PHP manual (with user comments), and you're on your way to being a well-informed developer. The second edition (2003) covers PHP 4.3, so it's still quite useful... I'm pretty sure the third edition will be written to cover 5.0. Dan Will Collins wrote:

Does anyone have any recommendations...?
