Hi We are developing a PHP / MySql based website. The requirements include a discussion forum and online chat application with open chat rooms, invited chat & one-to-one chat. There are many packages which are available on sourceforge and the like. I would like the list's opinion from a programmer's point of view. The packages would need to be customized according to the client's look & feel. For the chat, I use the pjirc java applet. I'ts open source and really customizable. There are some PHP samples in the FAQ area. The applet can be found at http://www.pjirc.comRegards, Jordi.
