apache1 + php or apache2 + php

Hi, I am a newer of this list, nice to meet every body here:) I am wandering about using apache1 or apache2 with php, and i hope i can get some advics here ;) I use ./configure --help and it says: --with-apxs2[=FILE] EXPERIMENTAL: Build shared Apache 2.0 module. FILE is the optional pathname to the Apache apxs tool; defaults to apxs. and I read these from php manual: http://www.php.net/manual/en/install.apache2.php it says: Warning Do not use Apache 2.0 and PHP in a production environment neither on Unix nor on Windows.
