I am having problems with the mail function in php. On my script which is
just a simple call to mail like
mail("rstock@tconl.com", "subject", "message!", "From:
\"Rich Stock\"
<\"rstock@servername.com\">\n");
the mail is sent, but for some reason it is adding another @servername.net
From: "Rich Stock" <"rstock@servername.com"@servername.net> . I am
running
php3 as an apache module on linux using qmail as my mail daemon, using
symlinks to qmail's sendmail from where sendmail was as discribed in living
with qmail. I am a newbie to php and programming in general and have no
Idea what is happening to have this happen. This is just a simple script
that I was using from a book I am reading, needless to say its a little
frustrating when things dont go quite as planned while i am trying to learn
the language. Any help I can get would be appriciated. I am using outlook
express as my mail client, although I dont think that has much if anything
to do with this error.
