Not like asp's application("") there isnt. You can use phps $_SESSION var, which is similar to asps Session(). I dont think php runs the same asp, in order for asp's application vars to work, you would think that asp must be running in some state continuously, and i dont think php does that. I should read a little more on that to be sure. But on first though, answer is nope.
