Yo,
We have a client that wants to track users. Basically, he wants a record of
where a user came from, meaning ad banners, and if that person fills out a
form for further information on the site. Essentially, he wants to know
closure rates by source.
I guess my question is pretty general since I've never done this before, and
don't have much experience with Unix/PHP3, but has anyone here ever done
this before? If so, can you give me an idea of the solution you came up
with? Any help would be appreciated, even a point in the direction of 3rd
party software that might work. Webtrends Log Analyzer reports aren't doing
the job.
Thanks.
