The one thing which is missing from there (unless it's covered in
Eric's smart questions document) is: "only quote the relevant parts of
an email when replying". It does my head in when people reply, quoting
everything (including huge code snippets) only to say "I agree" or
"replace $_POST with $_GET" etc.

It is not covered explicitly, but trimming posts is good practice.
