Have you tried something like:
<textarea name="someField" cols="75"><?php
print("$someVarWithDataInIt");?></textarea>
Also, i think there is an additional attribute for <textarea> where you can
define the wrap, eg:
wrap="soft"
wrap="hard"
htmlhelp.com didn't mention it, but I do remember seeing it somewhere...i
could be confused though =)

Subject: [PHP] Formatting question in PHP
Hi... again!
Well.. I got everything workin great now with the script I asked about
yesterday.
I have just a slight problem now when i present the information on the
web, probably it is very trivial to you guys but I am new to all kind
of programming except some html:
I have a field that is 500 characters in size, and I want to get it to
automatically linebreak on the page since the page is limited to a
width of 606 pixels. I have tried to put the info in a table that has
a width of 605 but it still put the data on 240 character long rows
before the browser makes a break.
Or is there a way to make the form I use for input to make the
linebreaks? It is a normal html form that calls a php script for
putting the data in to the database.
