I have installed Oracle 8.0.5 client (with linux compability) in my FreeBSD.
I want to recompile my PHP3 and PHP4 to support Oracle database.
I've added additional script in /usr/ports/www/mod_php3/Makefile and /usr/ports/www/mod_php4 like this :
CONFIGURE_ARGS= --with-apxs=${APXS} \
--with-system-regex \
--with-config-file-path=${PREFIX}/etc \
--disable-debug \
--enable-track-vars \
--without-gd \
--with-oracle=/home/oracle/product/8.0.5
and then i run command "make install". After several time, in my mod_php3 compilation progress, come out the error messages like this :
gcc -shared -o libphp3.so mod_php3.o libmodphp3-so.a -L/usr/local/lib -L/home/oracle/product/8.0.5/lib -L/usr/local/lib/mysql -lmysqlclient -lclntsh -lpsa -lcore4 -lnlsrtl3 -lclntsh -lnsl -lm -lz -lpam -lm -lcrypt -Wl,-R/home/oracle/product/8.0.5/lib -Wl,-R/usr/local/lib/mysql
/usr/libexec/elf/ld: cannot open -lnsl: No such file or directory
apxs:Break: Command failed with rc=65536
