Hi,
I need to move a website from the old server to the new one. The problem is that I can't
access the old server to look at its configuration (the access is restricted) and I can do nothing
about it. The hosting organization can't help me with the following problem, it just hosts the
site, and the person who set it up is not working for it anymore..
So my problem is:
this is how the site looks on the old server and how it should look:
http://www.singleslibrary.com/dynahtml/singles/sample.html
I took that HTML file and put it on another server and that's how it looks there:
http://www.codyboy18.com/denny/Misc/sample.html
I need to match that html file to look like one on the old server.
I don't know how and where to approach the problem. It looks like it's Perl embedded in
HTML, but then it doesn't look like that either. (I looked into PHP, ASP, SSI, and other
things, but nothing seems to match my problem).
The site doesn't seem to use ASP or SSI or embedded Perl alone, it seems to use a mix of all 3,
and it's a mix I never saw before.. I don't know how to duplicate it. I never saw
commands start from <: as in <:&field('height')>
If you know what it is or have any clues about how to recreate the site, please share your
suggestions!
If you need additional information about it that can shed the light on the problem, please ask.
thank you,
Dennis
