Problem with php web based email...

Sirs, We hired a programmer about two months ago to construct a php web based email system for us. We are very happy with the way it turned out except for one little bug (The programmer has since closed shop and we can not reach him). When viewing email with attachments, if the mail is sent from the email system, everything is fine...if the mail is sent from outlook express, the attachment shows, but no body...and if it comes from outlook 2000, the body shows but no attachment. I am fairly new to php, I know enough to modify some things and add new features, but I just can't seem to find the problem in the code I have the bug narrowed down to. If anyone is interested in trying to help, please mail me off list and I will forward you the code in question.
