PDFlib, wrapping text & pdf_show_boxed()

Hi, Is pdf_show_boxed() the right function for wrapping text of unnknown length? I have to put text of different length into a pdf file. How do i know how many lines i have outputted so that I can continue the document under it? btw if i use pdf_show_boxed() with width or height 0 and the other not 0 like this, pdf_show_boxed( $pdf, $string, 50, 100, 500, 0, 'left' ); I get this !
