Actually, after some searching I got it figured out... here is the way I ended up doing it....
Obviously the "RSdel" and the "MLemail" are specific to my record set and my database field.
<?php if ($row_RSdel['MLemail'] != "" ) { ?>
Show result from database.
<?php
}
else { ?>
No matching email address in the database!
