Hi,
This is an update to my previous question about PHPLIB not working with
4.0.2 (see my 2 messages - subject "Problems with PHPLIB on PHP -->
4.0.1pl2".).
Now I have redefined all my include_path and auto_prepend -directives to
.htaccess files (using php_value) now everything goes fine after I fire up
Apache. Then, after a while when Apache forks more childs and requests are
coming steadily PHP starts to act very funny. Opening up a phpinfo() -page
show different values on "local value" -row everytime I do a new request (I
think this is related to which Apache -child answers the request).
Especially I'm interested in include_path and auto_prepend_file -values.
This also breaks my applications, sometimes I get "Cannot inherit from
undefined class user" from phplib-application which doesn't get it's
auto_prepend_file included correctly. Pressing reload several times
sometimes gives finally a working page, but clicking a link produces the
errors again.
My server is: Apache/1.3.12 Ben-SSL/1.39 (Unix) PHP/4.0.3 - OS is Red Hat
Linux 6.2. I'm not using the Zend Optimizer.
Downgrading to PHP 4.0.1pl2 solves all problems.
