session ,cookies how to??

hi all, i would like to add sessions to my online test project. right now its working fine for a single user. but then how do i handle sessions for multiple users who write online exam?? A screen with a question and four choices is displayed and the user has to pick up the right answer and if the answer is correct[which iam testing with the ans char(1) of the main table listed below],iam inserting that row in a mysql table which has two fields like: 1)qno int(2) 2) ans text and as soon as the test is finished iam rendering the totalcount of the correct answers that i've inserted based on the selection of the choice of the user to display his result ie; total marks obtained.this works fine for a single user but how do i tackle for multiple users?? please help me. Apart from the above table, i have yet another table which contains the following fields: 1)qno int(2) 2)question text, 3)A text 4)B text 5)C text 6)D text 7)Ans char(1) where A,B,C,D are the multiple choices. Now my question is how do i handle sessions for the same to keep track of multiple users.i have tried a lot but in vain.i even visited sites like zend.com for help but am not clear how to use sessions.what extra f fields do i have to add in my tables for handling sessions and how do i take care of cookies etc.Your Help would be greatly appreciated.
