It might be done through COM+ (which is activeX just another fancy name
for it).
There is some documentation about it on the website.

not that I know.
PHP is PHP and has nothing to do with these languages.
PHP is for the web - it works with a webserver.
ActiveX, VB, Visual j++ are completely different from it.
Perhaps you could do things like precreate a php file with VB
or somehow start a different VB application accessing a web page that has
PHP in it,
or share/update the same database.
I have never heard of any direct relationship.
