This is concerning the windows distribution of PHP 4.03
Perhaps it is old news but I didn't run accross it in the mailing list.
After upgrading to PHP 4.03 I kept getting "X-Powered-By: PHP/4.0.3
Content-type: text/html" at the top of all my .php pages. Found some
suggestions such as use php.exe -q. Totally overlooked the browscap line
which, as it turns out, is a simple path problem :(
To keep the header from showing up at the top of your PHP parsed pages,
change the browscap line in your php.ini file as follows:
from
browscap = extra/browscap.ini
to
browscap = browscap/browscap.ini
