Yes that's it. And if you do something wrong with the semaphore part it'll
bring all your webservers down to a complete stop :)
If you are REALLY interested in this stuff, get the books from W. Richard
Stevens - 'Unix Network Programming' , Volume 1 and 2. These books contain
about everything you ever wanted to know about communication between
processes under unix. They also cover IP, IPV6, TCP, UDP, domain sockets,
writing different kinds of (www)servers, etc, etc. Best books I every
bought.
