Hi there, I'm developing a PHP-script for user authenticating. Basically I want a user to call a members-only page on the site like this: http://www.mysite.com/members/path/file.html where members is a PHP script with takes /path/file.html as a parameter. Then the script checks if the user is already logged in (using sessions). If not it displays a login page. If logged in then it displays the requested file. Now this systems works perfectly on my ISP's webserver running Apache/1.3.12 (Unix) and PHP 4.0.2 on FreeBSD. But I can't get it to work on my own local system running Apache/1.3.12 (Win32) and PHP 4.0.3 on WinNT 4.0. I thought I had it working once on my NT box too, but it doesn't now (maybe it was the upgrade to PHP 4.0.3 ?). If I run the script locally I get something like: Fatal error: Unable to open e:\sites\mysite\html\members\path\file.html in Unknown on line 0 It seems that it is a PHP error and not an Apache error. But I guess the reason I get it might have to do with an error in my Apache configuration. Or maybe even a bug in the Windows version of Apache. Can anyone help me with this ? I don't know near to nothing about Apache. Also I believe the $PATH_INFO variable shows different behaviour on Unix and Win32. Anyone ? Kind regards, Marcel
