Since they are completely different environments that were never intended to
communicate with each other, I believe that only recourse you will have is
to store data into a database for transfer between the two environments.
It will be a bit less convenient, but I'm sure some method can be created to
make life easier, such as an object oriented method where all variables are
stored into the object and automagically saved to the database, the reverse
could be accomplished to get data back out.
Hope that helps.
Chris

They are completely different programs from different vendors, at
least one of whom displays...er...little interest, shall we say, in
coding for high interoperability. :)
That is, not easily, AFAIK. I don't know whether you could get some
sort of interprocess communication or pipe thing going on--I really
have no idea what ASP's capabilities are for that sort of thing.
How does ASP store its sessions? (I'm just dribbling ideas--like I've
said, I have no idea how ASP works at this level and so these are just
ideas.) Anyway, since you can manipulate PHP's session support by
writing your own functions, perhaps you could write an interoperable
session manager in PHP.
Anyway, are you really sure you need to do that?
