Not to answer your immediate question, but do be careful about two entrants
having the same name. In the lookup form, when a user types in a name, you
should take them to a listing of all runners with that name. Each name
should have their runner ID next to it, hyperlinked like:
<ul>
<li><a href="results.htm?Runner=53">53</a> John Doe, Cleveland,
OH</li>
<li><a href="results.htm?Runner=99">99</a> John Doe, Brooklyn,
NY</li>
</ul>
Then, clicking on the hyperlink will display that specific runner's results.
