Hello!
Please read this message form the beginning to the end.
I'm trying to install PHP with IMAP support ( UW IMAP Server version
4.7).
I identified the problem as being relative to IMAP integration in PHP>
I'm using TWIG, a web based groupware, And when I try to log in (with an
IMAP authentication method) the browser just answer :
"The document contain no data"
I then tried to compile PHP 3.0.16 & PHP 4.0.2 with the UW IMAP Server
version 4.7, and it doesn't compile well, giving me some problem with
several driver variables:
unixdriver, ...
I saw that some questions were already put in forums concerning this
problem, with no answers.
My question is :
1.___What should I do to make it work (compiling PHP with
IMAP Support)?___
Installing all the stuff from RPM imply that I install a lot of RPMs
'cause of dependencies.
Installing another libphp3.so from another server didn't work (not the
same sources I assume).
I already tried several other IMAP sources : cyrus / courier & UW.
Should I recompile my apache server with the same sources than the other
server I use ( which works fine with PHP / IMAP)
2.___How can I make PHP 3.0.16 load my extensions? ___
another solution could be to take the other modules (imap.so) on the
working server to put it on the other.
But I didn't manage to make it load the modules as extension=imap.so,
with a god path in extension_dir...
Please can someone help ????
Thanks in advance
