mysql/php CTO or developer needed!

We are a profitable travel start-up in Alexandria, VA which offers discount hotel reservations in 43 countries and we are looking for a full-time CTO (developer/sysadmin/webmaster) to join our team and to run our new dedicated server (redhat linux) with our new php/mysql database [sample at http://www.HotelsCentral.com/sites/HotelsHungary.com] Our CTO will be responsible for hands on work which includes new content integration, fine-tuning, troubleshooting and expansion (chat room, hotel reviews, WAP, etc.). A part of the job will involve providing technical support to our local partner in 40+ countries who would access our database. We are looking for a detail oriented (testing errors is a must), bright and creative individual who can take charge and grow with our company. We require near expert or expert level knowledge of php, mysql, javascript, html and linux (preferrably redhat) This position will be pretty much your own show, meaning that at this point you will be the only person running our IT department. While we are profitable, we just hired a new CEO whose main task is to raise our second round (we had our first angel round) within 6 to 9 months. Once we raise our second round or significantly increase our revenue stream, we will start hiring more IT people and ideally the new CTO can oversee this. We have a very much laid back environment here (no clients visit us), but we do work hard and WE WORK FAST. ** You REALLY have to the mindset to get things and thrive under deadlines** This is how we work here and the result is that we are leaders in our industry nitche. Also, our company is a bit unusual. We have 5 full timers here in our office, but there are about 35 full time partners that are based worldwide with whom we interact on daily basis. Part of the job description for this position is that you help our international partners to adopt to the new system.
