I had the exact same problem, and its not your php script (since netscape is
on the client), it has something to do with a table in html. Why does this
happen? Because netscape SUCKS!! Anyone whose tried to standardize code on
both platforms will tell you the exact same thing, "hey it works fine on IE,
but I had to work for hours to get it to work on Netscape".

I have a script that causes netscape to stop responding to the
point that it must be shut down via the three finger salute (ctrl alt
del). The problem only occurs when I inclued the following code
fragement.
If you have any ideas, I would love to hear from you.

PS Code works fine in Internet Explorer
While($row = mysql_fetch_array($result))
{
$t_date = $row["date"];
$t_type = $row["type"];
$t_amount = $row["amount"];
$t_comment = $row["comment"];
//setup alternating bgcolors
if($toggle == 1){$toggle = 0;}
else{$toggle = 1;}
if($toggle == 1){$togglecolor = $t2bgcolor;}
else{$togglecolor = $accentcolor;}
//build table row
print("<TR bgcolor =$togglecolor>");
print("<TD>$t_date</TD>");
if($t_type == "c")
{
$tt_type = "Commission";
$totalcomm = $totalcomm + $t_amount;
}//end if
elseif($t_type == "p")
{
$tt_type = "Payment";
$totalpay = $totalpay + $t_amount;
}//end elseif
else
{
$tt_type = "Adjustment";
$totaladj = $totaladj + $t_amount;
}//end else
print("<TD>$tt_type</TD>");
$money = sprintf ("%01.2f", $t_amount);
print("<TD align=right>$$money</TD>");
print("</TR>");
print("<TR bgcolor=$togglecolor>");
print("<TD colspan=3>$t_comment</TD>");
print("</TR>");
flush();
}//end While($row = mysql_fetch_array($result))
