Yes it is, but makes few sense..
on Windows platform many PHP functions/features just do not work, how could
you test it?
I mean, if you are developing a multiplatform compatible software then Win95
is the best "ultimate test" for that.
The best configuration for PHP is
Linux-MySQL-whatever-open-source-you-would-ever-find
this is our world.
My Personal Advice to you is to figure out a way to use the same machine you
will upload the scripts on once they've passed your tests.
Open a new virtual host accessible via a different port, or place the script
in a password-protected parallel directory in your root..
Or (even smarter), get yourself an old & cheap computer (like I did) a P133,
32Ram, 2Gb HD.., no need for monitor, no graphic, sound cards... you'll pay
maybe 100-200$ , install there the same OS and PHP, MySQL versions you use
on your MAIN machine and just put it under your desk . That's the best
_Ultimate Test Server_ you would ever have!
Cheers!

Hi,
Just another quick question, is it possible to install PHP and MySQL on a
Win95 machine so I can test my scripts etc offline before I upload them to
my
servers ??
