PHP and Programming Newbies - Take a look here

Hi, A few months ago there was an effort, on this mailing list, to assemble a general checklist to address some of the common newbie problems and questions. The thread lasted for about a week or so and then it died out. To make a long story short and to save bandwith, there is now an article available on WDVL, http://www.wdvl.com/Authoring/Languages/PHP/Debugging/ This article contains a checklist assembled from various mailing list discussions as well as general programming tips in the area of debugging. I've tried to address some of the common things most experienced programmers learned the hard way. Any newbies that want some insight to !!SOME!! of the debugging problems and their solutions should have a look. I don't believe this is totally OT, but my apologies if you consider it to be so. I hope that maybee some people that read this article will not post "HELP ME!!!" or "WHAT'S WRONG WITH THIS CODE!!!" messages to this mailing list.
