If I rember corectly, you need to alod define the extensions as being a php script.. Basicly in either httpd.conf or srm.conf depending on how you installed php, you need to also add the extension so it reasls something like AddType application/x-httpd-php3 .php3 AddType application/x-httpd-php3 .phtml AddType application/x-httpd-php3 .myext Shashank Tripathi wrote: > > Apache 1.3.12, PHP 4.03 > > Read somewhere that this can be done, somewhat like Servlets..lets say I > have a folder within my htdocs, called "Content", which has only PHP > scripts, but the files are not named *.php..how do I make sure that the > files are executed and I dont get a 405 error, for instance ("The requested > method POST is not allowed for the URL /content/1"). > > Here is the config info in my Apache but it doesnt seem to work..: > > -------------------- > DefaultType application/x-httpd-php > > # Make the CONTENT directory execute PHP > <Location /content/> > ForceType application/x-httpd-php > </Location> > -------------------- > > Would appreciate if someone could help me in a state of > caffeine-deficiency..thanks! > > Shashank Tripathi > www.shanx.com > > --- > You can ignore this part of the email.
