It's far more likely that noone is using SOAP... :-^
Try posting the error messages and your exact configure line to
php-install for the maximum odds of a useful response.
If that fails, post same to http://bugs.php.net
As it is, nobody here can even BEGIN to guess what's wrong, since you
haven't provided enough info.
